Katrick Technologies

Pioneering Renewable Energy and Sustainable Cooling Solutions

Katrick Technologies (Katrick) is a rapidly expanding IP-based R&D and commercialisation company specializing in patent-protected technology platforms. They are developing a suite of products with significant potential in various markets and applications, offering market-leading zero-carbon performance and returns.

A Leader in Zero-Carbon Innovation

As a prominent player in the zero-carbon market, Katrick is designing products that substantially contribute to decarbonisation at a lower cost for end-users compared to existing carbon-based solutions.

Wind Panels: Katrick's Groundbreaking Wind Technology

Katrick's unobtrusive technology can be installed in urban and rural areas, generating profitable wind energy in any location. The dual-purpose panels also serve as noise barriers for roads, airports, and fencing in both urban and rural settings.

Katrick Technologies' Wind Panels capture and convert low-level wind energy in various environments. The panels consist of multiple channelling ducts containing patented aerofoils. These aerofoils transform kinetic wind energy into mechanical oscillations, which are then converted into electricity at a focal point. The Wind Panels efficiently capture kinetic energy due to their large working surface area and density.

Distinct from traditional wind turbines, the panels have no rotating parts. Each aerofoil operates independently, allowing for the collection of energy in small pockets and capturing various wind speeds and directions. The scalable and flexible wind panels can be installed on existing structures, greenfield sites, and microgrids, offering a novel solution for urban wind energy where conventional turbines are impractical.

Passive Cooling: Transforming Data Center Cooling and Reducing Energy Costs by Over 50%

Katrick is revolutionising decarbonisation with an entirely new approach to cooling. Their patent-protected passive cooling technology significantly reduces energy consumption and carbon emissions for the expanding data center sector.

In a world first, Katrick has developed an innovative heat removal system that uses oscillations to passively cool data centers. Their patented Passive Cooling system cuts power consumption and carbon emissions by more than 50%. The system captures and converts unwanted heat into fluid vibrations, which are then transformed into mechanical oscillations by multiple patented fins to passively dissipate heat. This maintains the necessary cooling temperature with reduced carbon emissions and costs, rendering energy-intensive industrial AC and condenser units obsolete.
